Why study with KASI
Office administration runs the business. Get recognised for it.
Good administrators hold the whole operation together and rarely get the credit. This qualification puts your skill on paper, registered on the South African NQF. KASI takes it one step further. We are the Regional Strategic Partner for Africa of IIMSTC, the international council in Bengaluru affiliated with the Government of India, so your name enters an international network the day you enrol.
That opens doors a local certificate cannot: a community of practitioners beyond South Africa, the chance to apply for IIMSTC’s global internship programme, and a recognised route to international standing through IFSPD Europe, which holds Special Consultative Status with the UN ECOSOC. You can verify KASI’s seat on the council on iimstc.com.
This partnership is an international network and recognition pathway. It sits alongside your South African QCTO qualification. It does not replace it.

Already working in office administration? Use your experience.
Many South African office workers have been doing the job for years without the paper to prove it. RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) lets you convert that documented experience into credit toward your NQF qualification, potentially reducing the number of modules you need to complete and cutting the time and cost to qualify.
KASI will conduct an RPL screen as part of your application. There is no separate RPL fee. Credits are awarded based on evidence you can provide against the SAQA unit standard outcomes for SAQA 102161.

Fund this qualification from your Skills Development Levy
Office administration is one of the most fundable skills areas under SETA discretionary grants. If your organisation pays the monthly SDL (1% of payroll), you can recover grants to fund your employees’ qualifications. KASI can structure a cohort enrolment for your admin team.
Section 12H of the Income Tax Act provides an additional tax deduction of R40 000 per learner enrolled in a qualifying learnership in Year 1. For a 10-learner cohort, this is R400 000 in tax deductions, typically exceeding the total programme cost.
Common questions
How long does it take?
Most learners complete the full qualification in 18–24 months studying 4–6 hours per week. Pay-as-you-go means you can pause between modules without losing progress.
Can I study on my phone?
Yes. The Moodle LMS at lms.edukasi.tech is fully mobile-responsive. Most learners complete modules during lunch breaks or evenings on a smartphone. Evidence can even be submitted via WhatsApp where supported.
What is the EISA?
The External Integrated Summative Assessment is the final external exam administered by Services SETA (AQP for SAQA 102161). It is written after all internal modules are complete. The fee is charged at the AQP rate, passed through to you at cost, no mark-up.
Is this recognised by South African employers?
Yes. This is a SAQA-registered qualification on the National Qualifications Framework. It appears on the SAQA NLRD (National Learner Record Database) upon completion and is verifiable by any employer. It is not a short course or certificate, it is a full NQF occupational qualification.
