Become the Digitally Capable Person Every Office Needs

Twelve practical modules take you from competent to genuinely capable: professional documents, working spreadsheets, real presentations, cloud collaboration, safe digital habits and AI tools, each proven with a practical evidence task.

"Digital skills are no longer a nice-to-have, they're the assumed baseline in every office, and increasingly the difference between being considered for a role and not. This programme covers the full toolkit properly, with real evidence tasks, not just videos to watch."

Common questions

Is this an accredited qualification?

No, this is a practical, non-accredited skills programme. It doesn't carry NQF credits on its own. It pairs well with KASI's occupational programmes (Office Administrator, Project Manager), which are working through QCTO accreditation.

How does this differ from the introductory course?

Introductory Studies for the Digital Workplace (R950) is for first-time computer users, switching on, typing, getting online. This programme assumes you can already do that and builds full workplace competence across documents, data, collaboration, security and AI.

Do I need Microsoft Office?

No. Every module works with free options. Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, LibreOffice, or the free web versions of Microsoft 365. A computer is recommended for the document and spreadsheet modules, though much of the course also works on a smartphone.
