Registered company
Knowledge And Skills International is a registered South African company (CIPC registration 2021/874346/07).
Accreditation
KASI is a new provider. We believe transparency about our accreditation status builds more trust than vague claims. Here is exactly where we are, what is in place, and what it means for you as a learner.
Current Status
KASI is actively pursuing Skills Development Provider (SDP) accreditation with the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO). Accreditation is in progress, it has not yet been granted.
Our programmes are QCTO-aligned: they are designed and delivered to the nationally registered qualification standards, with the full programme structure, assessment methodology and quality systems that the QCTO SDP accreditation process requires. Being QCTO-aligned means the content, evidence framework and assessment approach match the registered qualification, not that QCTO has yet issued an accreditation number.
We will update this page when accreditation status changes. We will not overstate what has been granted.
What Is in Place
Knowledge And Skills International is a registered South African company (CIPC registration 2021/874346/07).
Programmes are aligned to nationally registered QCTO occupational qualifications: Occupational Certificate: Project Manager (SAQA 101869, NQF Level 5) and Occupational Certificate: Office Administrator (SAQA 102161, NQF Level 5).
Assessors, moderators and facilitators involved in programme delivery are registered with the Education, Training and Development Practices SETA (ETDPSETA).
A documented Quality Management System (QMS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) govern programme delivery, assessment and moderation.
Learning is delivered and assessed to the registered qualification standard. Learners build a digital portfolio of workplace evidence through structured assessment tasks.
Certificates issued by KASI can be independently verified. Verify a certificate at any time without contacting us.
International Partnership
KASI is the Regional Strategic Partner for Africa of IIMSTC, the International Institute of Medical Science and Technology Council in Bengaluru, a council affiliated with the Government of India. KASI’s director sits on the IIMSTC international council. You can confirm that yourself on iimstc.com. KASI also works with IFSPD Europe, which holds Special Consultative Status with the UN ECOSOC.
Now the precise version, because this page is about straight answers. The partnership gives our learners and faculty access to an international network, an internship pathway and a research and recognition route. It is not a form of QCTO accreditation and it does not replace one. Your South African qualification is awarded under the NQF, and our QCTO SDP accreditation is still in progress, exactly as described above. The partnership is a real and additional benefit. It is not a stand-in for the local accreditation we are still completing.
In Progress
We are currently completing the full QCTO SDP accreditation submission and compiling the supporting evidence portfolio required by the QCTO. This is an active, ongoing process.
We are not in a position to commit to a specific approval date, that is QCTO's decision, not ours. What we can say is that the submission is being built methodically and to the standard.
